Flat Cut Metals are etched with a chemical solution to create recessed or deeper etching that adds more dimension to the text or image. We offer three options: Flat Cut Stainless Steel, Flat Cut Aluminum, and Flat Cut Brass. These metals provide a sturdy and long-lasting foundation for the etched design for both indoor and outdoor use. Through different metals, we can provide various colors, textures, and quality depending on what a business needs.

Flat Cut Stainless Steel Finishes

Flat Cut Brass Finish

A metal that has a classic, warm hue and is heavier than stainless steel and aluminum metal. We utilize its natural color with our brushed finish.

Etching Depth

Standard depth is 0.008" to 0.012" (0.2mm-0.3mm). Deeper etching is available by extending processing time for an extra fee.

Edges

Square edges are straight and sharp, while beveled edges are smooth and sloped. Bevel edges are only available for 1/4" (6mm) and above for Flat Cut Aluminum.
