What is an acrylic reveal on Metal Channel Letters?

The back has an acrylic cover, also known as an Acrylic Reveal. This creates a halo effect for “Back Lit” and “Front & Back Lit” signs. The back shows the LED light color since the material is semi-transparent.

The LED options include 6500K White, 3000K Warm White, Red, Green, and Blue. Extra color temperatures (2700K, 4000K, 5000K, 7000K, and 10000K) are available with a $150 USD fee and 2 weeks additional lead time.

These are the acrylic reveal thickness options for the following product lines:

Trimless Back Lit

• No Acrylic Backer (Open)
• 0 – Recessed Acrylic Backer
• 1/5″ (5mm)
• 2/5″ (10mm)
• 3/5″ (15mm)

Trimless Front & Back Lit

• 1/5” (5mm)

Aluminum Resin Front & Back Lit

• 1/5” (5mm)
