What are the backing options for the Rigid Neon Sign With Backing?
The acrylic backing is added to our neon sign for a flat surface that supports the neon sign. Aside from this function, backings are also useful for expanding the creative possibilities of a sign design.
For example, a detailed logo can be complemented by UV-printed artwork on the acrylic backing while the neon tubes can highlight key elements of the logo. This allows flexibility in design since not every part of the logo has to be illuminated.
We offer different choices that can help your clients have a great match for their establishment:
Frosted clear acrylic
This material has a translucent and slightly textured surface.
Matte Black
The acrylic backing is black to create a strong contrast that makes the neon colors stand out more prominently.
UV-Printed
Custom design or pattern printed on the backing material, especially for intricate and detailed graphics.
Clear Acrylic
A transparent backing with a smooth surface.
Painted PC
We can paint the backing with any color as long as you provide the Pantone Color code. This will help us match the color of the paint accurately.

Can I combine more than one color for the custom neon sign?

What is the backing size limit for a Rigid Neon Sign with Backing?
The maximum size is 117cm x 236cm (46”x93”), and the neon graphic must maintain a 2/3″ margin from the edge of the backing. This refers to the maximum dimensions of the neon sign that can be created on a single backer or panel. The size limit is measured from the neon edge to the backing edge.
What if my design exceeds the Rigid Neon backing size limit?
If the design exceeds the neon backing size limit 117cm x 236cm (46”x93”), we will divide them into multiple pieces to fit within the required dimensions.
What is the difference between Rigid Neon Signs and Flex Neon Signs?
Flex Neon Sign
Flex Neon Signs offer accurate shapes but with softer lines compared to Rigid Neons due to the silicone material used. The liquid silicone is poured over a mold, allowing for intricate designs with a smoother appearance. Clients can choose various backing options for this neon sign. It’s also more cost-effective, so it’s a great sign for starting small businesses or for seasonal events.
Rigid Neon Sign
Rigid Neon Signs feature precisely shaped neon tubes and clean lines achieved through advanced laser-cutting technology. It is lightweight and seamless, making it ideal for indoor or temporary outdoor installations for business logos, names, or event decoration. Compared to Flex Neon, this signage has a more three-dimensional look due to the acrylic support of the LED neon design.

Currently, we don’t offer battery-operated LED neon signs. All of our signs are designed to plug directly into a standard electrical outlet for consistent power and brightness
